Comprehensive Women’s Care

Comprehensive Women's Care values your time. For your convenience, we are providing our New Patient Information Form and HIPAA Statement on this website. If you are a new patient, please take a moment to download, print, and complete these forms and bring them to your next appointment.

Yearly Exams:
We book appointments 6 months in advance. Most insurance companies allow one well woman exam per year, so when you call to schedule an appointment, it would be helpful if you know when you had your last annual well woman exam & pap smear.

For Pregnancy:
Call our office as soon as you learn you are pregnant. We will schedule your first obstetrical appointment within 2 -- 3 weeks.

For Problem Visits:
If you are having gynecological problems, please call our office to speak with a provider or make an appointment to be seen. Please call as soon after 8:00 a.m. as possible so we can work you into our schedule. We will see all urgent problems the same day.

Emergencies:
A physician is on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies and deliveries. During regular business hours, please call the office and let the receptionist know you have an emergency. During non-business hours call the main number. Remain on the line during the office greeting and the on-call physician greeting. Leave a detailed message, including your name, phone number, and your symptoms. Be sure to turn the block off your caller i.d. by pressing *87. Our system will page the physician. If you have not heard from a physician within 30 minutes of your call, please call back and leave a second message.

In consideration of our patients with true emergencies, we ask that you not page the on-call physician after office hours for non-urgent matters, such as prescription refills.

Prescription Refills:
Call the main number during regular business hours to request a refill. Please have the following information available:

  • The drug name and dosage
  • The name and phone number of your pharmacy

Do not wait until you are completely out of your medication to call for a refill. while we can usually refill prescriptions by 5 pm on the day of your call, please allow us 24 hours to refill your prescription.

Late Policy/Cancellations
We value your time and do our best to stay on schedule. We ask for your assistance in maintaining a timely schedule by being prompt for your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment. Please provide us with a 48-hour notice if you are unable to keep an appointment.
